Female candidates (unmarried, up to 28 years, minimum height 5') can apply to join the Pakistan Army as captains in various categories like Engineering, Signals, ICT, and Education Corps. Registration is open from Dec 16, 2024, to Jan 05, 2025, with preliminary tests from Jan 10-17, 2025. Candidates must have relevant degrees (minimum CGPA 2.5/4) from HEC/PEC-recognized institutions. The selection process includes written tests, medical exams, ISSB tests, and interviews at GHQ. Selected candidates will undergo 6 months of training at PMA, Kakul and sign a 7-year service bond. • Nationality: Citizens of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan. Dual nationals must surrender foreign nationalities upon selection.

1. Corps of Engineers (Engrs):

• BS Geology
• BS Architecture
• BS in Civil Engineering (preferably MS in Geo Technology)

2. Corps of Signals (Sig):

• BE Electrical (Telecom) (Preferably MSEE)
• BE Software Engineering (Preferably MSSE/MSCS)
• BE Information Security (Preferably MSIS)

3. Corps of Electrical & Mechanical Engineers:

• BE Mechatronics Engineering
• BE Biomedical Engineering

4. Corps of Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (Aviation Fleet Management):

• BE Aerospace
• BE Mechanical
• BE Avionics
• BE Electrical

5. Corps of Ordnance (Ord):

• BE/BS Textile Engineering (Min CGPA 2.8)
• BE/BS Chemical Engineering (Min CGPA 2.8)

6. Army Education Corps (AEC):

• BS/MA Education
• BS/MSc Geography

7. C4I / ICTO:

• BE/BS Software Engineering
• BS Computer Science
• BE/BS Information Security

Academic Prerequisites:

• Minimum CGPA: 2.5/4 or 62.5% in annual system
• Candidates with M.Phil/MS degrees will be preferred.
• No 3rd Division/Grade D allowed (only one Grade C permitted).
• Degrees must be from HEC/PEC-recognized institutions.

Ineligibility Conditions:

• Rejected twice by ISSB.
• Medically unfit or permanently declared unfit by Appeal Medical Board.
• Withdrawn/dismissed from armed forces or government services.
• Convicted for moral turpitude.

Registration Process:

• Register via the official website: www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk.
• Exam slip will be available within 5-7 days of registration.

Selection Procedure:

1. Written/Intelligence Tests: Multiple-choice questions conducted at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs).
2. Preliminary Medical Tests: To ensure fitness standards (e.g., 1.6 KM run in 14 minutes for females).
3. ISSB Tests: Shortlisted candidates will receive call-up letters for ISSB.
4. Detailed Medical Exam: Conducted at Combined Military Hospitals (CMHs).
5. Interview: Conducted by GHQ Selection Board at Rawalpindi.

Military Training:

• Duration: 6 months at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), Kakul.
• Bond: Candidates must sign a 7-year service bond starting after successful completion of training.

Documents Required:

• Original and two attested photocopies of all academic certificates.
• Verified degrees (HEC/PEC).
• Attested photocopy of domicile and CNIC.
• 6 recent colored photographs (front & back attested).
• NOC (if applicable for government employees).
