In line with this strategy, the Bank is seeking talented, committed, and experienced professionals for the following position in the Information Technology department, based in Karachi/Islamabad.
Position: IT Specialist - DevSecOps Analyst (OG-II/OG-I)
Reporting to: Senior IT Specialist
Eligibility Criteria
Educational/Professional Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Candidates with a Master’s degree and/or certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, CISM, DevSecOps Foundation) will be preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of IT experience, including at least 1 year in DevSecOps, application security, or cybersecurity (preferably in banking).
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, secure coding, and cloud security.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Familiarity with security testing tools (SAST/DAST) and vulnerability management.
Key Responsibilities
- Embed security practices into CI/CD pipelines and development processes.
- Design and implement automated security testing tools (SAST/DAST).
- Set up security monitoring solutions to detect vulnerabilities and respond to incidents.
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for applications and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain security policies and standards aligned with industry regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, NIST).
- Provide training on secure coding practices, compliance, and security tools.
- Stay updated on emerging security threats and trends in DevSecOps.
- Perform other assignments as directed by supervisors.
