Position Overview
Educational Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- A minimum of graduation or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university/college/institute.
- Candidates with a Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications will be given preference.
Experience Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- At least 3 years of experience in the IT field, with at least 1 year of experience in Alternate Delivery Channels (ADC), name screening, reconciliation, remittances, or related customer support and complaint resolution tasks.
- Expertise in compliance, trade, treasury, reconciliations, and remittances in the banking/financial sector.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Strong Knowledge of Banking Regulations and Compliance: A solid understanding of regulations and compliance standards in banking operations, particularly those related to ADC services.
- Experience with ADC Systems: Familiarity with mobile banking, ATMs, and other electronic platforms.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Both verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to work closely with internal teams and customers.
- Technical Troubleshooting Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and solving issues with electronic banking platforms.
- Proficient in MS Office & SQL Server: Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of SQL Server for database management.
Key Responsibilities
As the IT Specialist, your key duties will include:
- Customer Complaint Resolution: Addressing customer complaints related to mobile apps, ATMs, and other electronic banking channels.
- Technical Support: Offering technical assistance for online banking services, mobile apps, ATMs, and other ADC platforms.
- Record Maintenance: Keeping accurate records of customer complaints and support requests.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Working with IT teams and other departments to resolve technical issues and enhance ADC functionality.
- Training Materials Development: Creating materials to train customers on how to effectively use ADC services.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that all ADC-related processes comply with industry regulations and standards.
- Quality Assurance: Implementing measures to ensure the security, reliability, and functionality of the bank's electronic platforms.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to enhance the complaint resolution and support services.
