Hiring of Services of Moavineen/Nazim for Hajj 2025
The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony (M/o R&A IH) is seeking applications from government officers/officials (BPS-07 to BPS-18) to serve as Moavineen-e-Hujjaj / Nazims during Hajj 2025 in various capacities, including accommodation, transport, food, and more. Selection will be made through the National Testing Service (NTS) based on quotas for different provinces and regions.
Positions and Quotas
Moavineen-e-Hujjaj / Nazims (Supervisory Positions)
- Quota: 80 seats (subject to change)
- Merit: 7.5%
- ICT: 0.1%
- Punjab: 49%
- Sindh Urban: 7.6%
- Sindh Rural: 11.4%
- Eligibility: BPS-17 to BPS-18 (Male/Female)
- Quota: 80 seats (subject to change)
Moavineen-e-Hujjaj / Nazims (Field/Supporting Staff)
- Quota: 800 seats (subject to change)
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 11.5%
- Balochistan: 6%
- Ex-FATA: 3%
- AJK: 2%
- Gilgit-Baltistan: 1%
- Eligibility: BPS-07 to BPS-16 (Male/Female)
- Quota: 800 seats (subject to change)
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be regular government employees in BPS-07 to BPS-18, drawing salaries from AGPR, provincial AG offices, or field accounts offices under the Controller General of Accounts (CGA).
- Age Requirements:
- Supervisory positions: 25–50 years as of April 30, 2025 (Date of birth not before January 1, 1975, or after April 30, 2000).
- Supporting staff: 25–55 years as of April 30, 2025 (Date of birth not before January 1, 1970, or after April 30, 2000).
- Repeaters who have previously served in Hajj duties are eligible only if they have not served more than twice.
- Minimum educational qualification: Matriculation.
Terms and Conditions
- All applicants will undergo a written test, physical endurance test, and an interview conducted by NTS.
- Physical endurance test: Includes 5 km jogging/brisk walk within a specific timeframe.
- Repeaters will constitute no more than 70% of the total strength of Moavineen-e-Hujjaj / Nazims.
- Employees with disabilities, chronic diseases, or mental/medical conditions are ineligible. A fitness certificate from the concerned DHQ is mandatory.
- No TA/DA will be provided during selection or training processes.
- The Ministry reserves the right to cancel or withhold the recruitment process at any stage without prior notice.
